We're Havin' A Heat Wave...

Hi All. Hope you're staying cool.
I wanted to share my latest "obsession" Julie Nutting's paper dolls. I have several finished.
The problem is the studio is the messiest I have ever seen. Until I do some cleaning I wont be able to take pictures.
Maybe after Jazzercise?

I'm back with a couple of pics.

Her name is Chiara. I stamped her on text paper, colored her with Copics and pieced her from old designer paper.
I think the sentiment is from a Wendy Vecchi set? I will add some ribbon and call her done.

Next up is "Ruby"

I will add some embellishments. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps.

This last pic is of the other 3 dolls.

Oops someone is missing. Too tired to figure out who.

Thanks for stopping by. Goodnight!

Happy Birthday

Hello.
Tomorrow is my daughter, Amanda's, birthday.
I made a card for her from her hubby, Ant, as well as one from me.

I have had this "Panda" stamp set from  The Ton for a while.
It seemed perfect for Ant to give to Amanda.
The background is silver embossed. The paper strip is also embossed, with gold.

This was my card to Amanda. I love the Altenew Vintage Rose stamp set -so much fun. Love the results. Once the dies became available had to have those too. The sentiment is from Avery Elle.
I cased this card from Tracy Mae Design.

Thanks for stopping by and to my new followers "Welcome"

HOT, HOT, HOT

Hola!
It's days like this that make me want to move to Antartica!
I spent the week-end in doors, in the studio. Only went out to see "Antman" at the movies- hilarious, tons of fun!

Moving right along. A Day for Daisies challenge is to use one of their images with newsprint. Good thing they offered a "freebie" because the thought of looking through my digi images to find
"Brother Owl" did not appeal to me AT ALL.

I made four copies of this lovely image. Two I used newsprint for hair, two used it for her face. I'll post those when I put a card together. Colored with Copics. Sentiment is from Unity Stamps.

Hope you like her as much as I.

Talk to you again, soon.
