copic

I downloaded this red riding hood and wolf image sometime ago.
Don't know if you can see it but the tree bottom between the wolf and red was a
"patch". I'd colored the entire image and realized that the colors I'd used for
the wolf and tree were almost identical-it looked weird. I printed another,
colored it again and pieced it together. It still needs work but looks a lot better
than before.

Beautiful Sunday!

Hi all!
Yesterday I went to a class taught by Shari Carroll at The Peddlers Den in Somonauk, Il.
I'd forgotten how much I like my little day trips!
Carol covered quite a bit, including the Silhouette/ Hero Arts dies. We made three cards
using Copics, embossing and Smooch(?) sprays. Ohh!
Aplogizing in advance for the lousy pictures-too lazy to set up my tripod and station.;)
Copic, emboss and Silhouette.

Resist, Smooch spray=yum! Didn't quite finish-needs sentiment.

Not a very good picture. The designer adhesive on acetate doesn't show as beautifully as in real
life. The faux letterpress was done with "soft pool" chalk ink. So pretty and we know
how much I like letterpress.
Thank you, Shari, for a fun, informative afternoon. Hope to see you in Downers Grove!.

quiet Sunday

Hi All!
Quick post to let you know about a blog-aversary/candy give away at  "A Thousand Sheets of Paper"
Look at all the goodies! One could also win some great paper.
Didn't want to pressmy luck linking that picture. Can you say computer challenged?!
Have a good day.  I'll be working on some Copic coloring.

TGIF

Happy Friday!
Quick post today.  I worked on this card most of the afternoon.  It's for a friend who started chemo
yesterday. The card is from Wild Dragonfly Designs blog.
I went through my box of colored Copic images-this one from Lily of the Valley.
How do you store your images?
Talk to you soon.
