I have one more holiday card and then I'll be working one some note cards for a friend to give as gifts.

busy saturday

Hi all!
Today was round two of  "craft fairing" This one was a neighborhood community center.
I think the weather kept people away but it was fun seeing old friends.
After the fair I hosted my grand niece's first b-day party-what fun! My ears are still
ringing from all the noise.  Here's a picture of the birthday girl, Ryleigh. Sweet, isn't she?!

I think I'm going to work with some images using my copics-have not used them in a bit.

Getting in the spirit

Hello!
I decided I needed a new centerpiece for the dining room table. It required a trip to Pottery Barn.
Unfortunately, they didn't have what I needed.  They did have a really cute Santa pillow and
some potted pine trees.  I don't know if I ever mentioned that I collect Christmas trees. I got the
idea to create a centerpiece using some of my trees and the pines from PB.

I added some pine cones, candles and curled ribbon around the base of the trees. I
have some faux snow somewhere. When I find it I'll add it. I'm really happy with it.
What do you think?

snowy Saturday

Hi all!
Awoke to a blanket of snow-luv it! I always feel so invigorated shoveling snow early morning!
It's so quiet I can "hear" my heart beat.
The craft fair was such fun-not as many people as last year(not as much money, either) but it was
great to see the kids selling their creations and my sister and great nephew are always such a
big help "talking up my talents".

I had the blinds open so I could look at the squirrels playing in the trees outside my bedroom
windows. Unfortunately you can't really see them but the snow covering the trees is very pretty!

Is that blob off to the left a squirrel? LOL

These are some boxes I made for the craft fair Saturday
These two round boxes are 4" with a set-in rim.

This box is  3" round.

Think I'll go back to sleep-for an hour?
