Awake early (5:21) that's the time Mandie stumbled in (she's still on b-day time)
Took a long walk to the lake. Beautiful and hot already.

Greens are really hard for me. I have a lot of trouble getting the shading right.  I'm
going to work on the leaves some more-pretty happy with the flowers.

Happy Saturday. Rain early now it's just hot (again)!

Yesterday was my daughters's birthday. Earlier in the week she'd asked about her "card".
She likes green and the fairy image reminded my of her.

Still working on photographing my images for posts. I found a nice tutorial on
the Paper In Bloom blog.

Hi All! Way too hot to go out so I've spent  most of the day in the studio.  Gettin' hungry, though so
I think I'll have to brave it. Here's what I finished today.

I can't remember where this image came from and the photo isn't too good but was fun to color(copics)

This was from the Penny Black Blog.  Talk about a "lift" this is it-I used the same colors(copics and
distress)  The only thing different is the sentiment.

I love Lily of the Valley! Isn't this the sweetest image?!  Used a nestability for the frame run thru a folder.
I'm taking the images to work-my mini art gallery.

Hi, All!
How was your fourth?
Mine was very quiet(thankfully)
A while ago I said I'd post the sympathy cards I made for my best friend, Betsy.

Her husbands name was Willie Bee but every one called him Bee.  I saw the bee image and
thought "perfect". Her favorite color is red. I ran the Thank you folder thru the cuttlebug. Voila!

I hope she likes them.

I am debating a nap or a walk.

The Fourth

Hi All! Happy 4th! Not planning to bbq.  Maybe I'll go by my niece's(she borrowed my grill).
My best friend's hubby, Bee, died suddenly- a great shock. They were married over 40 yrs. I made a
card for her but did'nt take pictures. She wants me to make some special thank you cards- I will photograph those and post.
