lazy Saturday

Hi, All
I have been on line all morning-checking out coloring websites, mostly;)
Have a couple of photos for my Weebly site.

This was one of the very first frames I made.

Love the Deco paper on this frame.
I'll share more later. Feeling like I need to work on my tax return:(
Talk to you soon

changes

Hi, All!
I was away from the blogisphere for about a week and now that I'm back there are
changes to blogger. That'll teach me;)
I'm working on some card sets for my friend Betsy.  I did some heat embossing on
one set and thinking about dry embossing the other.
Here are some pictures of what I colored on the trip to Hawaii...

I was too lazy to set up my light box.
A few more

The "still life" is from the new Copic Coloring Book-Nature.
I did'nt have the right colors for the orange.

Well that's all for tonite.
Have a good holiday!

ALOHA!
Back from vacation. Had a lovely time-doing all of the "touristy" things.
Whale watch, island tour, luau and sun bathing on the beach.
Naturally, once I got home I'm sick. My nose is raw and I can't stop sneezing.
I took some of my Copics-colored on the plane and when I had down time in Hawaii.
I'm going to post some pictures when I can sit up for longer than a few minutes;)
Talk to you soon.

more cards

Hi, All!
Another beautiful, warm day!
Thought I'd post more cards.
A Lily of the Valley image colored with Copics.

You might recognize this image-Pure Innocence. I paper pieced her dress.

I love this image. It's perfect for practicing hair and skin coloring as there is lots of
open space! I really need to start listing my Copic colors!
That's all I have for you tonite.
Til next time. Mikki

Spring forward

Hi, All!
Beautiful day and more daylight does'nt hurt:)
Here's what I've been working on.

Not sure why the blue cast,  this is from a water color kit from Heather's Hobbie Heaven.
Image was colored using Distress inks. I like the technique almost as much as coloring with Copics.

This one is colored with Copics. I used some of the deco paper from the water color kit from HHH.
Sent it to my friend Betsy as a thank-you.

I think this image would make a great Easter card-love that the girls are dressed in their
finest.
I have some other images that I'll post tomorrow-it's dinnertime.
I'm getting really excited about Hawaii!
